The Welsh Fell Runners Association (WFRA) is managed by fell runners like you. We are volunteers putting something back into the sport we love. Learn about who we are and our voluntary roles in the WFRA.
The Welsh Fell Runners Association (WFRA), or Cymdeithas Rhedwyr Mynydd Cymru (CRhMC) in Welsh, is an independent, not-for-profit, Charitable Incorporated Organisation whose aim is to encourage and support grassroots fell running and racing in Wales and the Borders. The overwhelming majority of fell races held in Wales are organised by members of the Association.
We publish an annual race calendar, maintain the WFRA website, organise the WFRA fell running Championship plus the regional North and South Wales Series of fell races. We also assist Race Organisers and members by setting out Safety Requirements and Rules for Competition and organise appropriate public liability insurance cover. Your membership fees directly support fell running in Wales and the Borders.
Who's who?
The WFRA is managed by a small group of volunteers who are passionate about fell running. Learn about everyone's fell running journeys and their roles by clicking on their names.
